The only thing that would have made this any better is if Matthews had pushed a button on his desk and a big hook came from off-camera and pulled that obnoxious radio host off the stage while he was still screaming his buzzwords.

But that's really the only thing that would have improved this clip.

but he needs to keep this kind of thing up if he wants to be able to make a credible run for senate from PA (unless he plans on running as a repub), then he needs to stop doing this and act even douchier.

He was (2.00 / 1)

a speech writer for Carter and was Tip O'Neill's media guy. He used to be a solid dem but he went corporate and became a hack. His roots are definitely democratic, but I am not sure right now where he is (I don't mean this in a tribute to his journalistic qualities like how I praise Todd in his having minimal bias). Tweety is all over the map, doing stuff like this about 40-50% of the time, doing crap like 'Chinese bus' about 20% of the time and answering his own questions the rest of the time.

Would Obama campaign for him in 2010? Matthews could be Hillary's colleague in 2010 if she doesn't get the nomination.

in the primary, If he gets the democratic nomination then yes I would wager Obama would campaign for him (Hillary might as well). If he runs as a republican Obama wouldn't campaign for him.
